On April 11, the Jane Addams-Hull House Museum in Chicago hosted “Contested City: From the Lower East Side of New York City to the West Side of Chicago,” an incredible evening discussing Contested City with Gabrielle Bendiner-Viani in conversation with Teresa Córdova, director of UIC's Great Cities Institute, Nicole Marroquin featured Hull-House artist and Professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and Jose E. Lopez, executive director of The Puerto Rican Cultural Center. It was dubbed one of the best community and culture events in Chicago that week, and the conversation was on fire.
